It is with great sadness that Cwmbran Celtic has learned of the passing of Richard Crimmins, aged only 42. Richard played for John Stockwell’s Under 12s and 14s between 1993 and 1996 making 90 appearances. A gentle giant in central defence he was in the 1994/5 squad which did the Torfaen U12 League, Cup & 6-a-side treble in which year he won the 12s Sportsman of the Year trophy. The club extends its deepest sympathy to Richard’s family particularly his beloved daughter Eden.
