Match Report
With a bit of squad rotation and resting some players, Celtic started slowly and were lucky not to go behind but once the team settled down chances came.
The deadlock was broken on 21 minutes when Fiona Anthony slotted home. This was followed by a first goal from Alex Bond cutting in from the left and firing into the corner. A third from Eloise Meaney made the game more comfortable.
The second half saw a spirited Ammanford create chances and get a goal back on 55 minutes followed by another attempt hitting the cross bar. However normal service was resumed when Eloise seized onto a chance and scored her second. More chances came but the home keeper Palmer was in outstanding form and pulled off numerous saves. With time running out Jodie Challenger was put through and slotted a fifth to make the final score 5.1 to Celtic
Overall a below par performance but job done and we await another challenge in the next round.
