Match Report
The sending off of Shaun Moss, his 2nd of the season, meant Celtic had to play the last 60 minutes one short and, despite taking the lead, Celtic conceded 2 late goals to their bogey side who registered their 5th successive win against Celtic and extended their unbeaten run in the league to 21 matches to move up to 3rd in the table.
The Moss sending off occurred in the 36th minute for an alleged reckless challenge on Chris Jones. The colour of the card was hotly disputed by the Celtic management. As so often happens when a team goes a man down, Celtic worked tirelessly to stay in the game and their reward was to take the lead on 67 minutes when Tom Meechan pounced on a clearance from Lewis Watkins to score his 4th goal in the last 3 league games. Thereafter Lido piled on the pressure and Mark Jones equalised in the 81st minute after a defensive scramble and Ben Keen scored the winner on 90+1 minutes with a spectacular volley.
Celtic remain 8th in the table but there are only 2 points separating them and the 5 teams below and they are only 4 points ahead of the relegation zone.
