Another curtailed weekend because of the continuing wet weather.
The 1st team played at Llanelli Town on Friday going down 3-2 to a late winner which took Town to the top of the table on goal difference from Briton Ferry Llansawel. For the 3rd week running Celtic’s scorers were Alex Bonthron (penalty) & Tom Meechan. Celtic drop one place to 11th in the table 5 points off the drop zone.
On Sunday the Womens Development team registered their first win in 6 matches 2-0 at Caerphilly Dragons, the scorers Kristina Jasicova & Anna Lugg-Morris. Despite their blips in previous weeks the team is still well-placed to take the title. They are 3rd three points behind Tranch Ladies but with a superior goal difference 45 against 27 (54-9 ; 46-19).
The Girls Under 12s won 5-3 at the team below them in the table, Tredegar Town, to open up a 6-point gap in 6th place.
