The Reserves lost 4-2 in midweek at Blaenavon Blues. Cameron Williams and Adrian Maguire scoring. Williams & Maguire were on the scoresheet again on Saturday in a 7-2 win at Celtic Park versus Abercarn United. The other scorers were captain Mario van Dieren 2, Lewis McCauley, Gabriel Howells & Jack Prosser. Celtic are 4th in the table.

The Youth team ran riot at Abercarn United winning 10-1 – their best win of the season. The scorers: Gabriel Howells 4, Oscar Balkwill 3, Shay Jones 2 & Jesse Jenkins. Celtic are 3rd in the table. Gabriel is in a rich vein of form having scored 10 goals in his last 8 games for the Youth & Reserves.

The Vets 40s won 4-2 away at AFC Pontymister, Kieran Masterson 2 & Mark Jones 2 the scorers. With one game left they are 10th in the table out of 14.

In midweek the Ladies Development won 2-0 at Cwm Welfare, Anna Lugg-Morris & Alex-Marie Bond scoring. They are 2nd in the table 10 points behind Coed Duon but with 5 games in hand.

On Sunday the Ladies won 5-1 at Celtic Park against Newport City in the League Shield semi-final, Alex Marie-Bond 2, Bethan Percival 2 & Teagan Eley scored. Alex has scored 6 goals in 4 successive games. In the final they play Penydarren BGC who are top of Division 1.

The Under 12 Girls lost in midweek 3-0 at home to Llanyravon Juniors but finished their season on a high with a 16-1 win at Monmouth Town. They finished 6th in the league out of 9 teams winning 6 games & losing 10.
