It was a fitting performance & tribute by the hosts in memory of their secretary Norma Samuel, who passed away recently, but for Celtic it was their 7th defeat in 9 league games. Celtic were well in the game at 2-2 going into the 2nd half through goals by Tom Meechan & a penalty by Alex Bonthron. The turning point was Sam Powell’s sending off for a 2nd yellow in the 52nd minute. Thereafter Celtic fell apart.

They have slipped to 12th place in the table only 6 points off the drop zone. Their 22 successive league games without a clean sheet since 7 April last season eclipses their previous worst sequence of 15 games in 2005/7.
