A late rally by Cwmbran Celtic, spearheaded by strikers Chris Ham and Josh Bull, gave the home side the three points in a feisty Gwent derby match with Monmouth Town. On a pitch made tacky by persistent rain, Celtic took the lead just before half-time through a Rhys Williams header. Despite having the better of the 2nd half chances, Celtic were wasteful in front of the visitors' goal and they paid the price when Town winger Eliott Ford equalised on 68 minutes. However Celtic bounced back to clinch the win through long range shots from Chris Ham and Josh Bull, both of which deceived goalkeeper Asa Kirkwood in the flight.
Celtic remain in 11th place in the league table but with several games in hand there is scope to move further up the table.
